GOTHIC BLUE COLOURED CONCRETE AVAILABLE
Gothic Blue Coloured Concrete: Deep, Moody, and Dramatically Sophisticated
Make a powerful and unforgettable design statement with Gothic Blue Coloured Concrete. This dramatic palette features an intensely dark, moody slate-blue tone that verges on midnight, offering a richer and more mysterious alternative to standard charcoals. At Midland Mini Crete, we seamlessly integrate our Gothic Blue pigment into the mix at our plant, ensuring a UV-stable, full-depth colour that commands attention. It is the ultimate choice for high-end residential projects and cutting-edge architectural builds that require a dark, imposing foundation with a unique, luxurious edge.
WHY CHOOSE GOTHIC BLUE COLOURED CONCRETE?
Dramatic Architectural Presence
Gothic Blue is built for spaces that demand impact. Its deep, shadowy hue provides a striking, high-contrast canvas that makes vibrant green foliage, industrial steel elements, and warm architectural lighting stand out brilliantly. Whether used for an executive driveway, a moody courtyard, or a modern commercial plaza, Gothic Blue delivers avant-garde luxury and permanence.
Structural Full-Depth Pigmentation
Dark concrete must perform flawlessly under pressure. By using high-grade liquid pigments mixed thoroughly throughout the entire batch rather than just treating the surface, we ensure the Gothic Blue colour goes all the way through. This means that even under heavy vehicle loads or decades of weathering, the dark blue-grey hue stays intact without peeling, flaking, or exposing a washed-out concrete core.
Dynamic Finish Versatility
Gothic Blue adapts magnificently to a wide range of surface textures:
Polished: Delivers a stunning, mirror-like industrial finish that brings immense depth and mystery to interior living spaces.
Honed: Offers a smooth, matte stone appearance that feels refined and contemporary for outdoor entertaining zones.
Exposed Aggregate: When combined with robust dark stone mixes, it creates a high-traction, heavily textured surface built to handle the toughest environments with undeniable style.
HOW IT WORKS
We deliver precision and power with every load of Gothic Blue concrete:
Automated Precision Dosing: Our computerised batching system ensures the exact amount of Gothic Blue pigment is added to your mix, guaranteeing uniform colour across multi-truck projects.
The “Deep-Core” Mix: The pigment is thoroughly integrated into the wet mix in our trucks, ensuring complete colour saturation around every grain of sand and stone.
Fresh Perth Delivery: We deliver your fresh Gothic Blue mix directly to your site, ensuring optimal workability so your contractor can achieve a clean, professional pour.
Sealing for Maximum Depth: To preserve the majestic dark tones of Gothic Blue and protect against staining, we strongly recommend a high-quality penetrating or gloss sealer. This locks in the colour depth and provides an immaculate, long-lasting finish.
Please note: Gothic Blue is a favourite for luxury architectural driveways and modern entryways, offering a heavy-duty surface that masks wear and tear while elevating the overall property value.

WHAT IS COLOURED CONCRETE?
Coloured concrete is the same substance as your generic ready-mix concrete, just with some added pigmentation for your desired colour. It is made up of cement, aggregates, water, and the colour pigment is added in the mixing process. When you use coloured concrete, you can choose whether you want to use this opportunity for the concrete to blend in with its surroundings or pull all the attention as the focal point. Adding colour to your concrete gives a new dimension to your project; this way, you can also accurately colour match any new concrete with an existing pour.
